About Me
I was born, raised, and educated in France. I have been a Visual Art teacher (professeur agrégé en Arts Plastiques) in France from Sept 2010 to March 2014. And our family moved to Canada for my husband's job. I am currently studying at Queen University in order to be certified with the OCT.
Back in France, I taught about 450 10 to 14 year-old students (more or less 16 classes) per year, one hour a week with each class, plus workshops with volunteers. For the last 3 years, I was in charge of running teacher-training courses (lectured on "How to organize a lesson," part of the mandatory school district training plan). And for the last two, I was also responsible for the training of new teachers.
I have been lucky enough to be inspired by many great teachers while growing up and hope to make a difference through this noble profession.
